PULWAMA, Oct 11: Tral Tigers held Saffron Supers to goalless draw, while Pulwama Panthers registered a solitary goal win over Wachi Warriors in the ongoing Rajpora Gold Football Cup 2015, here today.
The first match was played between Tral Tigers and Saffron Supers which ended in a 0-0 draw with both teams having ample opportunities to take the lead but failing to capitalize.
Burhan of Tral Tigers was adjudged as man of the match for his excellent performance.
In another match, Pulwama Panthers emerged 1-0 victorious over Wachi Warriors. The game was a fast tempo one with both the teams showing great build up play. It was Pulwama Panthers who in the dying minutes of the game took the lead through Shayik and emerged winner.Shayik from Pulwama Panthers was adjudged as man of the match.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Wachi Warriors will take on Rajpora Royals, while Tral Tigers will face Shopian Sultans.
