KARGIL, Mar 9: Town Shooters Padum lifted the Police-Public Archery Trophy, 2021 with 87 points and Snow Leopards Rantaksha emerged runners up with 69 points while the 3rd position went to United Khasar.
The final match was played at Sports Stadium Zanskar today.
Lobzans Tsetan of Bakula Zangla team was adjudged man of the series for scoring 27 individual points.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Tsewang Rigzin was the chief guest on the occasion.
Officer Commanding Army Camp Padum and other Sub Divisional Officers were also present during the closing ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, SDM Zanskar and SHO Zanskar congratulated the Archers for taking part in sports and also announced that the 10 best archers selected for team Zanskar will participate in the Archery competition, being organized by Ladakh Police at Kargil.
Later, the SDM and other officers distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winner and runners up teams.
