SRINAGAR, May 23: As a sequel to Kashmir Tourist Festival-2013, the Department of Tourism organized seminar at Government College for Women, Nawa Kadal and Government Amar Singh College here today.
The topics of the seminar were “Tourism Development and Economic Growth” and “Culture and Heritage Tourism identifying Market for International Tourists”.
Azireh, Tuba Muneer and Sabreen of Government College for Women, Nawa Kadal were adjudged first, second and third, while as Falak, Badar Bashir and Sajjad Rashid of Government Amar Singh College were also adjudged first, second and third respectively in the competition.
Principal, Government College for Women, Nawa Kadal Prof. Tasleem Peer and Principal, Government Amar Singh College Dr. M Y Peerzada, Assistant Director, Tourism, Zahida, faculty members and students were also present on the occasion.
