JAMMU, Dec 29: Tourism Department today organized an ‘All Ladies Evening’ at Jammu Tawi Golf Club, here.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Manu Bhatnagar by lighting the lamp in presence of Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare Department Sheetal Nanda and other women officers.
On the occasion, a variety music and dance programme was presented by artists, which was highly applauded by the audience.
While giving details of the event, Sukriti Sharma GM JKTDC in her welcome address said that the aim of hosting this program was to highlight the womanhood and appreciate the women achievers.
Meanwhile, a panel discussion was also held on the topic of ‘Changing Stereotype’, celebrating womanhood.’
Panellists among Kritika Khanna, India’s First Female Para Rower, Vijaya Thakur Educationist President Awardee Poetess and renowned writer, Sunita, a young entrepreneur and Sarpanch Birpur Veena Jamwal expressed their views on the occasion.
The event witnessed colourful cultural performances, Paintings, Lucky draw, cuisine foods etc.
