Invitational Hockey Tourney

Jammu, Apr 17: In the ongoing National Level Invitational Hockey Tournament 2024 organised at KK Hakku Stadium, three matches were held here today.
In the first match Bandu Rakh thrashed Kashmir Wanderer Hockey Club by 10-4 goals. Amritpal Singh was adjudged as player of the match for his excellent play and inception. Manjeet Singh General Secretary Sikhs 4 All was the Chief Guest while Jagjit Singh (Crystal) was the guest of honour.
In the second match Srinagar Hockey Club thrashed Khalsa Club by 11-2 goals. Nitin of Srinagar was declareds player of the match. In the third match SGPC Amritsar defeated Sahara Club by 12-0 goals. Karandeep Singh of SGPC Team was player of the match for his great techniques and great skills.
P N Razdan (Retd) Sessions Judge was the Chief Guest and Surjit Singh General Secretary DGPC was the Guest of Honour in the third and final match. The tournament is organised by Sikh Progressive Front in commemoration of 555th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji.
This prestigious tournament is supervised by a high level technical delegation of Hockey India and dynamic assistance of Anjli Thakur, Jagjit Singh, Baljit Kour and Sonia, all coaches of State Sports Council JK-UT.
