JAMMU, May 29: The Champions Trophy Tennis Ball Cricket tournament concluded at MA Stadium, Jammu, with enthusiastic participation from young players.
The tournament was organised by the District Jammu Tennis Ball Cricket Association under the aegis of the J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association in support of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan. Eight teams participated in the Under-12 and Under-14 boys categories, promoting sportsmanship and awareness against drug abuse.
In the Under-14 final, IDPS defeated Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), Bohri by 40 runs to lift the title. In the Under-12 category, MA Stadium clinched the championship after defeating Jammu Champions by 2 wickets in a closely contested match.
Senior coach Imran graced the occasion as special guest and appreciated the efforts of organisers and players for the successful conduct of the tournament. The event was supervised by Gulshan Rattan, General Secretary, District Jammu Tennis Ball Cricket Association.
