Talent search camp of physically challenged players held

JAMMU, Oct 7: A talent search camp of physically challenged players was organised at Country Cricket Stadium, Gharota under the aegis of Divyang Cricket Control Board of India, here today.
The selected players will participate in the 2nd edition Divyang Premier League (DPL) which is scheduled to be held at International Cricket Stadium, Sharjah (UAE) in the month of February and March, 2022.
About 40 players from different districts of J&K participated in the trial and showed their talent in front of the selectors.
On this occasion, Sunita Kashyap, founder president of J&K Divyang Cricket Association, Syed Shah Aziz captain of Rajasthan Rajwada team and member of Indian Physically Challenged Cricket team, Kailash Prasad captain of Indian Physically Challenged Cricket team and Ghazal Khan CEO of Divyang Cricket Control Board of India and Divyang Premier League, General Secretary of DCCBI Harron Rasheed were present during the trial.
Sham Singh Langeh, trial organising secretary and chairman of Jammu division Physically Challenged Cricket team said that the selected players will play in the Divyang Premier League at UAE in next year and the selection list will be declared later on.
