POONCH, Aug 28: District Taekwondo Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association started Taekwondo training classes at Sports Stadium, here today.
Nirdosh Kumar Sharma, Incharge Manager Sports Stadium Poonch along with District Youth Services and Sports Officer Ayaz Khan inaugurated the classes in the presence of Narjeet Singh, ZPEO, and Sham Lal Sharma, retd. SAI Hockey coach and Vice President Hockey J&K. They met with all the young budding boys and girls participating in the taekwondo training classes.
Speaking on the occasion, Ayaz Khan, DYSSO Poonch said that Rajinder Singh, Physical Education teacher is doing a commendable job by giving training to young boys and girls of Poonch district in taekwondo (martial art) apart from doing his office duties.
He also assured every possible help to the young players of taekwondo from his side.
Vijay Kumar, PEM, Mustaq Ahmed, Boxing Coach, Pawan Kumar, Lecturer Physical Education, Sanjay Sharma, PET, Jatinderpal Sharma, PET, Mukesh Kumar, PET, DK Raina, PET and Ram Parkash were also present on the occasion.
