SRINAGAR, May 5: As many as 400 martial art players participated in the Open State Taekwon-Do Championship-2013 which concluded at Indoor Stadium here today.
On the concluding ceremony Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Shah was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shah urged the players for developing sportsmanship and enthusiasm towards the sports to bring laurels to the State.
Later, the chief guest presented 60 gold, 60 silver and 80 bronze medals, besides trophies and mementos to the winners and participants in the Taekwon-Do championship.
About 40 Taekwon-Do uniforms were distributed among the players on the occasion.
