UDHAMPUR, June 7: Three day long Table Tennis coaching camp organized by District Table Tennis Association at Vikas Palace concluded here today.
On the concluding day today, Sunil Sharma, president, District Table Tennis Association was the chief guest, whereas Ravish Vaid, Table Tennis Coach from University of Jammu was the guest of honour.
Ravish Vaid gave the coaching to the students and gave them small tips about the basic of table tennis.
Around 100 students of various institutions participated in this coaching camp.
While speaking, Sunil Sharma said that table tennis is the only game which can be played by 8 year boy to 60 year old man. He appealed the sports authorities to complete the ongoing work of Indoor Sports Complex at Subash Stadium Udhampur so that players can practice their game as there is no proper place for playing Table Tennis.
He added that the event was organized with the motive to channelise the energy of students during vacations and encourage them to participate in the sports activities.
Earlier, Kumar Tarun, senior vice president of the Association presented the welcome address, whereas in the end Ankit Sharma, joint secretary presented the vote of thanks.
