REASI, Oct 25: Sungri team beat Channa team by 3-0 points in Volleyball tournament, organised by District Police under Civic Action Programme at Sungri Sports Ground, here today.
SDPO Mahore, Khalid Ashraf inaugurated the tournament wherein four teams from Chassana, Sungri, Tulli and Channa participated.
Prizes were distributed by chief guest Purna Devi, Sarpanch Chassana in presence of SDPO Mahore Khalid Ashraf, Inspector Vijay Thakur SHO P/S Chassana and prominent citizens to winner team as well as runner-up team.
Trophy and cash prize of Rs 3000 were awarded to winning team Sungri led by captain Aijaz Ahmed while trophy and Rs 2000 was awarded to the runner-up team led by Mohd Mustafa.
SDPO Mahore highlighted the bravery, courage and valour of the martyrs. He also paid a rich tribute to the martyred police personnel.
