JAMMU, Aug 31: 23 students and 2 teachers of Khari Bowl in Ramban district returned after an Educational Tour to various places in Delhi, Sonipat and Rohtak.
A warm reception was organized by 11 Sector Rashtriya Rifles at Chanderkot during which they shared their experience and glimpses of memorable events with the Commander.
Army organised an Educational Tour ‘Sair-e-Watan’ under Operation Sadbhavana from August 18 to August, 31, 2013.
Commander, 11 Sector Rashtriya Rifles flagged in the Tour members in a simple function. During his interaction with the students he highlighted the importance of such visits for the self-development of students and the community by being witness to the progress our country is making in different spheres and enrich their knowledge. The students during the
tour underwent sports coaching in various sports disciplines, besides visiting many famous places of the country.
The students interacted with Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen SK Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, ADC at Delhi and expressed their profound gratitude to the Army for conducting such a memorable and educative tour.
