JAMMU, May 30: For promotion of the sport of Strength Lifting in the State, a meeting was held, under the chairmanship of Vicky Mahajan, president of Strength Lifting Association of J&K, here today.
Among others, the technical director of this game Ashok Singh also attended the meeting.
The new body weight categories changed by the Federation of India recently were appraised to all concerned.
State activities calendar for this year was also discussed in the meeting and the date of State Championship was finalized for the month of August. Before the forthcoming Junior National Championship which were likely to held in the month of September 2013 at Kolkota, the Association president assured full help to promote this game all over the State.
