Stephen CA beats Game Changers, lifts title

JAMMU, Sept 18: Stephens Cricket Academy lifted the title trophy of 1st Trikuta Challenger Cup defeating Game Changers Club by 2 wickets, being played at Railway Ground, here today.
After winning the toss, Game Changers scored 199 by losing 7 wickets in stipulated 30 overs in which Aquib scored 78 runs and Paras made 47 runs. For Stephens CA, Samar took 2 wickets, whereas Harsh and Sanjog bagged one wicket each.
In reply Stephens CA chased the target and scored 200 in 29.3 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Madhu scored 36, whereas Ishan made 34 runs and Salman and Shavac contributed 31 & 21 runs to the total respectively. For Game Changers, Aquib took 4 wickets and Varun and Sachin took 2 wickets each. Thus, Stephens CA won the match by 2 wickets.
Salman was adjudged as man of the match for his brilliant performance with bat, whereas man of the series award went to Aquib Rather and Shavac Makin of Stephens CA was declared as best batsman; besides, best bowler award went to Aquib Rather of Game Changers.
The matches were officiated by Pranav, Sukomal Ganguly and Danish Atri. The tournament was organised by Trikuta Cricket Academy under the supervision of Balbir Singh and Sukomal Ganguly.
