JAMMU, Aug 3: Jammu and Kashmir State Taekwondo Cadet (boys and girls), Kyorugi and Poomsae team left Jammu today for Agra to participate in the 3rd Cadet National Taekwondo (Kyorugi/ Poomsae) Championships 2017-18, being held from from August 4 to August 6, 2017 at St. Andrew Public School, Karmyogi Enclave, Kamla Nagar, Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
The Chairman J&K Taekwondo Association, Anil Gupta (Anu), President PC Sharma and General Secretary, DN Pangotra, Vice President, Nissar Hussain and some office bearers of the Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association were present during flag-off function.
Earlier, the Screening of the team was done by Screening Committee of J&K State Sports Council including Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary J&K Sports Council Jammu and Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu.
Before the Screening the J&K Sports Council organized 3 day National Training camp for the players at Brahman Sabha, under the supervision of Atul Pangotra, coach J&K State Sports Council.
The Teams: Vaibhav Abrol, Satjeet Kumar, Manish Kumar, Ashish Saini, Deepak, Hashim Majeed, Aman Khajuria, Arsalan Aqib, Zain Nazir, Zahid Ashraf (All Kyorugi boys);  Soliha Shafi, Iqra  Manzoor, Shefali Attri , Sabia Mushtaq, Mehnoor  Shafiq Mir, Sabahat Aafreen, Mehroosh Manzoor (All Kyorugi girls); Achutam  Dev, Pranshu  Gupta, Vaibhav  Abrol and Kushagra Sharma (All Poomsae boys).
Suhail Ahmed, Rohit Sharma, Mukti Gupta and Atul Pangotra are accompanying the team as managers and coaches respectively.
