JAMMU, Mar 10: J&K State Taekwondo Association today held general assembly meeting and re-constituted the new team of the association for the next five years.
During the meeting, PC Sharma was unanimously re-elected as the president of association, whereas Nissar Hussain, Ravi Sharma, Dy.SP Samba, Ranjeet Kalra, Assistant Director, Jammu University and member BCCI and Shahnawaz Choudhary, Youth Congress Leader as vice presidents, Advocate DN Pangotra as general secretary, Zaheer Abbas Khan as treasurer and Syed Ashaq Hussain and Rajesh Kumar as joint secretaries.
Ajaz Khan, DYSSO, Rajouri, Jai Raj, Retd DYSSO, Sanjay Singh Rathore, Dr Khalid Mehraj and Anuj Mahajan were elected as EC members.
Ajay Jandial was the Returning Officer, whereas, the observers were Jasbir Singh Gill, from Taekwondo Federation of India and Dushyant Sharma from Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association (JKOA).
