State Level U-19 Tennis Ball Cricket C’ship concludes

GANDERBAL, Aug 19: The Under-19 State Level Tennis Ball Cricket Championship concluded here today with Baramulla boys lifting the title after beating Poonch by 2 wickets.
Kishtwar gave a tough fight to Ganderbal in the hard liner match and secured third position.
The championship hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Ganderbal, is being played in three segments including U-19 and U-17 boys segments and a girls group segment.
Seventeen districts from across Jammu and Kashmir participated in this Championship, while Under-17 boys and girls open group matches will start from August 20.
A colourful Prize distribution ceremony was held after the final match in which Director General Youth Services and Sports, Jehangir Mir was the chief guest, while District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz was the guest of honour.
