JAMMU, Feb 14: The 42nd J&K State Badminton Championship is being organized by J&K Badminton Association, Police Lines Badminton Hall Jammu and Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, Jammu from February 18 to February 21, 2016.
According to a handout issued here, about 200 players from different districts of the State will be participating in this Championship. The competitions will be held in Men, Women and Veterans singles, doubles and mixed doubles events, besides Junior Under-19, Under-17, Sub Junior Under-15, Mini (Under-13) Boys, Girls singles & doubles and Under-10 boys and girls singles.
“The state teams for the Senior Nationals and Veteran Nationals, being held at Chandigarh and Coimbatore respectively, will be selected on the basis of performance of players in this Championship,” informed OD Sharma, general secretary of the Association.
