JAMMU, Nov 16: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District Poonch today inaugurated the State Speedball Championship for Under-19 boys and girls at Govt. Hr. Sec School, Poonch today.
According to the organizers, the gold medalists in this Championship will be selected for 60th National School Games 2014-15.
The SSP Poonch, JS Johar was the chief guest on the occasion, who was delighted to see abundant talent in this sport in far flung areas.
The officials for the event were Sunny Nanda, general secretary JKSBA, Shah Faisal, Asryan Kangotra and Mansi Slathia.
