JAMMU, Jan 5: Socio Service Art Group (SSAG), Delhi conducted 20 days Innovative and Educational Workshop/ Programme with the border children and youth of Garkhal Akhnoor Jammu in collaboration with Ministry of Home Affairs and Border Security Force, which concluded here today.
About 150 children and youth participated in the Programme.
During the programme mental exercise, group analytical drama, visual art, music, cultural history, creative writing, mask making, clay molding and sculpting activities were incorporated which improved the imaginative skills and helped in building confidence among the participants .
On the concluding function the participants performed short plays, musical items and paintings. Masks and clay models were also exhibited.
Sanjay Kumar, Commandant 89 BN Akhnoor was the chief guest on the occasion. He applauded the performances of the participants and the efforts of Socio Service Art Group for holding these programmes in border areas.
The programme was conducted by the experts namely Anil K Razdan, Pradeep Pandita, Jung S Verman, Vijay Malla, Jasleen Singh, Vijay K Raina, Sunil Verma, Gaurav, Anuroop and Rohit.
