JAMMU, Sept 5: Prominent religious preacher and social worker, Baba Chanchal Singh today donated sports items and kits for use of the same in by school students.
The sports items for indoor games like Chess, badminton, Carrom- board etc, were donated in Government Girls High School, Burj Mandir, Jaswa road and MRLD High School, Burj Suiian in Marh Zone.
Speaking on the occasion, Baba Chanchal Singh appealed the student to say no to drug and concentrate on sports activities besides studies. He said that healthy mind lives in healthy body and hence the students must engage themselves for sports activities, instead of wasting time here and there.
He also donated ceiling fans to the schools and appealed people to donate generously for the educational institutions so that that the schools produce best students, who are future of India.
Master Parvinder Kour, Brahm Dutt Sharma, Rakesh Kumar. Principal Kewal Krishan Sharma, Sukriti Jamwal, Needhi Jaral, Ajit Jamwal, Satish Kumar, Bitta, Amit Bhalla and others were present on the occasion.
