JAMMU, May 11: A new Sports Complex ‘Hoopsters and Spikers’ was inaugurated by the chief guest GOC White Knight Corps, Lt. General Paramjit Singh AVSM, SM at Army Public School Nagrota, here today.
Dr Bandita Singh, Zonal President AWWA White Knight Corps was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The function was attended by senior Army Officers, besides staff and students of the school.
Emphasizing the role of sports and games, the chief guest motivated the students to take part in sports and games whole heartedly.
He appreciated the Principal and staff for improving the performance of students in all aspects by leaps and bounds.
The toppers of the school were felicitated by the GOC for their excellent performance in class 12th board results.
He also acknowledged the services being put in by administrative staff who he said are always working behind the screen.
