JAMMU, May 22: Trials for the selection of State Women Sport Climbing team for the 2nd North Zone Women Sport Climbing Competition will be conducted by Mountaineering Association of J&K on May 31, 2017 at Tenzing Norgay Sport Climbing Wall in Sprawling Buds School Complex, Bantalab, here.
According to the organizers the trials will start from 8 am under the overall supervision of Joint Secretary of Mountaineering Association of J&K, Shawetica Khajuria who is also qualified national Judge of the game and Shashi Kant, the present trainer of the state sport climbing team.
Before participation in the North Zone competition scheduled to be held at international standard climbing walls in Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi on July 23, 2017, the selected climbers will undergo a 21 days intensive coaching under a national coach at Jammu and Delhi.
