JAMMU, Sept 12: SPMR College of Commerce thrashed PG Arts and lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament (Men), organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at ground number 1, near main gate, University of Jammu, here today.
In the summit clash, SPMR College registered win over PG Arts by 4-3 goals in tie breaker. From SPMR College of Commerce side, Ajay Kumar, Pankaj, Shivam and Ankit netted the goals, while from PG Arts side, Rajinder Singh, Aayush and Aaqib scored the goals.
The match was officiated by Suresh Gupta, Vijay Kumar and Taranpal Singh.
On the valedictory function, Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu awarded the title trophy to the winner team.
Among others present were HS Chib, Ijaz Malik, Physical Director, SPMR College of Commerce, Mahesh Sharma, Physical Director, Government BEd College, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia and Gagan Kumar.
