Specially abled stars of Ladakh shine at National event

LADAKH, May 7: The specially abled stars of Ladakh shined at National event.
A team from Ladakh of Cerebral Palsy took part in the National Athletics Championship, which was organized by Cerebral Palasy Society of India at New Delhi.
Chemet Angmo won two gold medals in the championship on first day, whereas on the second day, Stanzin Laksphel won silver medal in 200 meters and Ahsaan Ali bagged gold medal in long jump.
A total of 10 players from different parts of Ladakh took part in the championship. Team Manager Safdar Ali is accompanied by coach.
Lt Governor Ladakh RK Mathur, President Cerebral Palasy Society of Ladakh Syed Mehraj Ud Din Shah and General Secretary Ghulam Mustafa congratulated the players for their achievement.
