KATRA, June 9: Wrestler Som Beer of Rohtak, Haryana, clinched the 9th Annual Udhampur-Industrial State Kesari dangal Title 2015 outplaying wrestler Sunil of Haryana in the first Malli bout held at Industrial Area, Battal Ballian (Rathian) in district Udhampur.
Dangal was organized by Young Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma and Chairman Young Dangal Committee Rakesh Singh.
Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga, was the chief guest who gave away cash prizes to the winners and runner-up wrestlers in presence of Shiv Kumar Sharma BJP State Secretary Pawan Khajuria, General Manager Industry Neelam Khajuria and DySP Gourav Mahajan.
Winner of 1st Malli Som Beer was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and Mata Ki Chunni along with 9th Udhampur-Industrial State Kesari Title while runner-up Wrestler Sunil was given a cash award of Rs 30,000.
In another 1st Malli bout, Satinder of Mehar Singh Akhara Rohtak (Haryana) beat Benia Min of J&K Police and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while runner-up was given a cash prize of Rs 31,000.
Meanwhile, Zaker of Sarore beat Teg Ali of Mallerkotla, Kalu of Bishnah thrashed Krishan of Panipat, Roshan Lal of J&K Police defeated Tinku of Rohtak, Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu beat Bodh Raj of Panipat, Bobari of Sarore thrashed Raj Kumar of Delhi, Javed Khan of Nargada beat Amit of Harayana, Ajay Sharma of Udhampur thrashed Bhallu of Rothak, Amir Khan of Bajrangi Akhara beat Rajan of Baranasi (U.P), Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police defeated Nandu of (U.P), Kaka of R.S Pura beat Nisar Ahmed of Doda and Muskeen of Ramnagar thrashed Mohd. Sadiq of Domana Akhara Jammu.
