JAMMU, Apr 30: To pick the State team for 33rd Junior National Softball Championship to be held at Vasco in Goa from May 19 to May 24, the Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association is holding selection trials on May 3 and May 4 at GGM Science College ground, here.
According to a handout issued here the Association has invited the registered players to participate in the open trials and have advised the unregistered players to register themselves by or before May 2, 2015.
“Selection trials will be followed by 11 days coaching camp from May 5 to May 15 at the same venue,” said C L Bhat, general secretary Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association.
He further informed that the Senior National Softball Championship will be held at Chandigarh in the month of June 2015.
In this context, the Association has advised senior players to register themselves with the Association up to ending May, 2015.
“Only registered players will be allowed to participate in the trials, ”Mr Bhat added.
