JAMMU, Nov 18: SNS Vidya Mandir today celebrated its Annual Day function with the theme “Abhirakshnam Vasundara” – Safeguard Mother Earth.”
The event was graced by chief guest Sat Sharma, State president BJP and guest of honour OP Vidyarthi. Distinguished dignitaries including Rajinder Kakar, Darshan Lal Sharma, Parshotam, Lila Karan, Sarla Kohli, Ranju Malhotra, Priya Singh and Valvinder Singh also marked their presence.
Guests were warmly welcomed with eco-friendly planters, symbolising the school’s dedication to nurturing a greener future.
The celebration began with an auspicious Ganesh Vandana, followed by a beautifully synchronised orchestra presentation.
Principal Neetu Gupta presented the annual report, highlighting the school’s achievements, milestones and key initiatives undertaken during the academic session.
The thematic act “Abhirakshnam Vasundara” emerged as the showstopper, powerfully conveying the essential message of protecting and preserving Mother Earth.
During the prize distribution ceremony, students were recognised for their outstanding performance in academics, co-curricular activities and sports.
Inspirational addresses by the chief guest, guest of honour and Darshan Lal Sharma motivated the audience and encouraged students to strive for excellence.
The programme concluded with a vibrant grand finale, followed by the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.
