SMVDU Staff Members bag silver medals in Bhutan

KATRA, Aug 30: Balbir Singh and Sumit Sharma of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), bagged silver medals in the South Asian Yoga Championship in Bhutan.
The pair secured 2nd position in the South Asian Yoga Championship in the senior age categories between 31-39 and 24-30.
During the championship around 40 players from India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh took part to vie for the top honours.
The Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, Padam Shri Prof (Dr) Ravindra Kumar Sinha, congratulated the staff members and wished them a success ahead.
Mr Singh and Mr Sharma expressed their gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, for allowing them to participate in the Championship.
