KATRA, June 12: A Webinar Session of Neha Maheshwari, Manager-External Affairs, Bennett University (Times of India Group) was conducted for the Management students of School of Business in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.
Ms Maheshwari took the session on ‘Corporate Readiness with the Management Graduates of SMVD University. She is alumnus of School of Business (MBA Batch 2004-06).
She shared with the students hardships and mistakes made in her early stages of career when she joined the corporate, and the lessons learnt from those mistakes. She suggested that students should build a strong network using various social media platforms to succeed in the practical world.
Ms Maheshwari recommended that students should start their career from ground level so that they will be in a better position to learn more.
She acquainted the students with the prerequisites for corporate readiness, and also provided tips to the students for appearing in the interview and resume writing. While addressing the queries, Ms Neha advised students to acquire the professional competencies and prepare for the future.
Dr Saurabh, Head, School of Business, expressed his gratitude to Ms Neha for her valuable inputs. Dr Jyoti Sharma, Associate Professor, SoB, and moderator expressed her satisfaction regarding the growth of the alumni of School of Business.
