JAMMU, Apr 30: The divyang students of School for Hearing Handicapped, Jammu, run by J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra (SKK), have once again excelled in Higher Secondary examinations, declared by Board of School Education (BOSE). The school achieved a 100% pass rate, with two students securing distinction.
Karanjeet Singh topped the school with 77.2%, while Surekha Devi from Udhampur earned distinction with 74.8%. Surekha, a scholarship recipient from a Sweden-based organization, has shown impressive academic growth. In addition to the distinctions, three other students bagged first division marks.
For the past 10 years, the school has maintained a 100% pass rate, with many students earning distinction. SKK awards cash prizes to class toppers of BOSE examinations. This year, cash prizes will also be given to teachers whose students achieve distinction.
