SKCC registers 4-wkt win over BCC

JAMMU, May 13: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) defeated Bhatia Cricket Club (BCC) by 4 wickets in the ongoing 3-Match T-20 Series on drug awareness, being played at Bishnah Degree College ground, here.
Earlier, SKCC skipper Aman Cheema won the toss and put Bhatia Cricket Club into bat.
Sailing on magnificent knocks by Anil (67 runs off 48 balls) and Vivek (59 runs off 41 balls), BCC posted a huge total of 215 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
For SKCC, Aman Singh took 3 wickets, while Anmol Manhas and Shahrukh took two wickets each. Jimmy and Manu Khajuria also claimed one wicket each.
In reply, SKCC rode on quick-fire knocks by Anil Langeh (75 off 23 balls), Jimmy (52 off 39 balls) and Aman Cheema (21 off 16 balls) and chsed the target by losing 6 wickets in the process, thus won the match by 4 wickets. From BCC, Sachin and Mooton shared 2 wickets each.
Anil Langeh of SKCC was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant batting display, while Motton of BCC bagged man of the series award.
Owner of Bishnah Academy, Mr Bhatia was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed trophies among the winners and runners-up teams.
