Skaters show composure, promise on day-2

JAMMU, May 9: Skaters sweated-it-out and showed lot of composure and promise in vying for the top honours on day-2 of the Open Inter-District Roller Skating Championship, being organized by Glider Roller Skating Club, under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association at New Skating Rink in MA Stadium, here.
In loose bearing 0-6 girls, Minal won gold, while Annashri claimed silver.
In 6-8 girls, Aases won gold, Mallina bagged silver and Sefit claimed bronze, while in 8-10 girls, Anishka won gold, Prisha bagged silver and Aina bronze, while in 12-14 girls, Janvi won gold.
In loose bearing skates 0-6 500 mts boys, Sayeeb and Daksh bagged gold and silver respectively, while Anaveer Singh and Tseering shared bronze.
Arhaan, Jasmeet and Ritvik bagged gold, silver and bronze medals in loose bearing skates 6-8 boys respectively, while in 8-10 boys, Sahil and Sunit bagged gold, while Abhishek and Divij Dutta shared bronze.
In 10-12 boys, Sahil Kumar and Sunny Kumar bagged gold and silver respectively, while in 12-14 boys, Anrag claimed gold and in 14-16 boys, Mandeep Singh clinched gold.
In quads 0-6 boys, Kartik, Hayaan and Kohinoor clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in 6-8 boys, Shaurya, Vansh and Havish claimed gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
In 8-10 boys, Akarshit bagged gold, Nitiyan won silver and Eklaya claimed bronze, while in 10-12 boys, Asim and Aditya bagged gold and silver respectively, while Vanshaj and Arandeep shared bronze.
In 12-14 boys, Rakshit, Dhruv and Manav won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
In quads 14-16 boys, Palav Gupta, Lakshya Bhagwathi and Rohit bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in above-16 boys, Aryaveer Singh and Ankush Gupta claimed gold and silver medals respectively.
In quads 0-6 girls, Suhani got gold, while in 6-8 girls, Pariyal bagged gold, Garima won silver and Ayesha Hayat claimed bronze, while in 8-10 girls, Dhriti, Shivangi and Harashita claimed gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
Akriti, Sania and Palak won gold, silver and bronze medals in 10-12 girls respectively, while Harpreet Kaurand Mansi Sharma claimed gold and silver in quads14-16 girls respectively.
In 500 mts inline 6-8 girls, Gursimran Kaur bagged gold, while in 8-10 girls, Saanch Anand and Priyanshi Raina won gold and silver respectively.
In 500 mts inline 12-14 girls, Somya Sharma and Ria Wadhera bagged gold and silver respectively, while in 10-12 girls, Mehjuba and Aksa claimed gold and silver respectively.
In inline 6-8 boys, Yuvraj Singh and Rajvansh won gold and silver respectively, while Arnav and Sawadhani shared bronze medal.
In 8-10 inline boys, Jaideep Singh, Eklavya and Rajveer won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in 12-14 boys, Ankit Gupta, Rishav Basotra and Jaskaran bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
