JAMMU, Oct 7: Skaters displayed extraordinary skill and showed grit and guts to win medals in the District Level Inter-School Skating competition, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Jehangir Mir and supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma, here.
Earlier, in 100 mtrs Under-11 boys, Veer Manhas of Jodhamal School bagged gold, Rajveer Nagbani School won silver and saamanyu of DPS claimed bronze, while in Inline 500 mtrs Under-19 boys, Yuvraj of Jodhamal won gold, while silver and bronze went to Tanush of KC Public and Sewadhani of DPS, Jammu.
The gold medal in Inline Under-11 boys 1000 mtrs, went to Sewadhani of DPS Jammu, while the gold medal in Under-14 boys 1000 mtrs was bagged by Jaideep of APS, Jammu.
Raghav Gupta of MHAC Nagbani, Dhruv Gupta of DPS Jammu, Arush Gupta of DPS Jammu, Amit Pal of Banyan International School and Rajveer Singh of KC International claimed gold medals in Inline Under-14 boys 500 mtrs, quads Under-17 boys 1000 mtrs, Inline Under-17 boys 1000 mtrs, quads Under-19 boys 1000 mtrs and Inline Under-19 boys 500 mtrs respectively.
