KARGIL, Dec 8: Skarchan Warriors Latoo lifted Kargil War Memorial Cricket Trophy by defeating Poyen in the finals at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium, here today.
More than 40 teams from different parts of this district participated in the tournament, organized by youth of Poyen.
On the occasion District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kargil, Mohammad Hussain Rahnuma was the chief guest and Mohd Shabir Kachae Ward Member MC Kargil Poyen was the guest of honor. Congratulating the youth of Poyen for organizing the event, Mohammad Hussain Rehnuma said that such activities help to bring out the youths towards healthy activities rather than engaging in unhealthy activities.
Later, the dignitaries distributed trophies and medals among winner and runner up teams.
