JAMMU, Dec 8: Banyan International School organized a campaign to save natural resources and stop pollution at Bahu Plaza in association with IDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Indus Sind Bank, here today.
With this campaign, the students made an effort to convey the message of their campaign to save energy, fuel, resources and control through a short programme which began with dance performance, followed by songs and skit.
The objective of the campaign was to make people aware about natural resources, non renewable resources and to get ideas for control of pollution.
Principal of the School, Rajesh Gandral said that the School is expecting to get a good response from the people as this initiative is not only the job of one person but its a ‘WE’ project. He appealed to the public to contribute in this campaign by using fuel judiciously, saying no to plastic bags, car pooling and plantation.
