Press Club team joins function

UDHAMPUR, Feb 22: Shemmount International School, Udhampur, marked its annual day with great enthusiasm, showcasing a vibrant array of cultural performances and futuristic skits. The event was attended by President Press Club Udhampur, Sumeet Sharma, who chaired the celebrations and lauded the school’s efforts in promoting artistic and cultural excellence among students.
The program featured mesmerizing dance-drama performances, skits and theme-based cultural presentations, reflecting creativity, history and futuristic concepts. The students captivated the audience with their talent, colorful costumes and artistic expressions.
Addressing the gathering, President Sumeet Sharma appreciated the school’s commitment to fostering a holistic learning environment. He encouraged students to stay connected to their roots while striving for excellence in all spheres of life.
As a mark of recognition, certificates of appreciation and awards were distributed among students, teachers and non-teaching staff for their achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.
Earlier, Principal Shabana Malik highlighted the school’s accomplishments in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities at both the UT and national levels. He presented the school’s annual report, underscoring its continuous pursuit of excellence.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Press Club Udhampur members Pankaj Saraf (Vice President), Ashish Dutt (General Secretary), Ashwani Sharma (Secretary), Arun Sharma (Joint Secretary), Deepak Anand (Spokesperson), Sourav Sharma, Naresh Kundal, Deepankar Gupta, K Kumar, Atul Sharma, Arun Kumar, and Balwan Singh. Also present were DDC Members Puran Chand and Ashu Sharma, Sarpanch Samsher Singh, and School Director S.K. Bali , along with staff, students, and parents.
