JAMMU, Jan 23: Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor defeated Bleed Blue Cricket Club by 10 wickets in Friendship Cup, organized by Singh Cricket Club under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh at Govt Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, near here today.
Bleed Blue Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Bleed Blue scored 95 by losing all wickets in 17.2 overs, wherein Harry Singh made 37 runs, while Sachin Thakur contributed 10 runs. From the bowling side, Sham Singh Langeh, Anshu Sharma and Rahul Manni shared 2 wickets each, while Abhinandan Sharma, Manav Mehta and Binny Kesar shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor chased the set target in 6.2 overs, wherein Gagandeep Singh Jamwal made unbeaten 48 runs and Sunil Govil’s unbeaten 33 runs.
Gagandeep Singh Jamwal was declared as man of the match, while Abhi Sharma and Rahul Shanty were umpires and Dev Bhagel acted as scorer.
