JAMMU, Dec 16: In the ongoing Tournament of KC Sports Club Cup , being held at KC Public School, Simula Cricket Club defeated Shastri Cricket Club in an easy contest, here.
Shastri Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first to score 126 runs. Akash and Jasvinder scored 36 and 28 runs respectively. For Simula, Dhruv Mahajan, Hilal Rather and Vicky took 3, 2 and 1 wicket respectively.
In reply, Simula Cricket Club completed the target in 15.4 overs. Mohit Puri scored 52 with two huge sixes whereas Vivek and Gulzar contributed 22 and 13 runs respectively. For Shastri Club, Vishal, Sunny and Akash took 3, 2 and 2 wickets respectively. Mohit Puri of Simula Cricket Club was declared as man of the match.
