JAMMU, Dec 23: Simrandeep Singh, Deputy Comissioner, Jammu, Rakesh Sethi, DIG(Ops) Jammu North, CRPF, Jammu and A. Padma Kumar, Commandant 33 Bn, CRPF flagged off 50 students from different schools of Jammu division alongwith staff of CRPF to attend the National Integration Shivir at Village- Pransla, Upletha, Rajkot in Gujarat.
The students were overwhelmed with enthusiasm to participate in the tour.
33 Bn, CRPF is arranging the tour programme for these students (40 boys and 10 girls) studying in various schools of Jammu Division.
The organizer ‘Shree Vedic Mission Trust’ aims to acquaint the youth with real India, its civilization, culture, heritage, secularism and inculcate the feelings of national integration in them.
Earlier today, the students from Kishtwar, Doda, Bhaderwah, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu, Samba and Kathua, assembled at 33 Bn, CRPF at Preet Nagar, Gangyal, Jammu. They were provided various utility items like travel bag, track suit, sports shoes, crockery, stationery etc free of cost.
