JAMMU, Oct 17: The Shri Ram Universal School organized an Inter-School event ‘Shri Samvedana’.
The event started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the song presented by the school choir.
Thereafter, the ‘Shriites’ welcomed the dignitaries as per the Shri ethos.
Principal Ritula Singh welcomed the gathering.
The event was graced by Neeraj Gupta Principal (Mother’s Lap), Anjali Sharma Principal (Stepping Stones), Pooja Khurana Academic Manager (IDPS), Sana Syal Coordinator (Sanskar DBN), Jaswinder Singh, In-charge of Da Vinci (The Hidden Art studio), Sonam Tashi and Simar Pratap Singh (Admin IDPS).
Students from various schools like Heritage School Jammu, International Delhi Public School Jammu, Delhi Public School Jammu, MV International School Samba, Spring Dales school Kathua and Army Public School Samba participated in the event.
The event had various divisions including Artist in Me, Recitation in which participants recited a poem on Compassion, Paint a Poem in which they created a poem with illustrations on their own on the topic Empathy for Animals , Quiz on our own heritage , My Future City & Expressions.
Adamya of Heritage School, Jammu was the winner in ‘Recitation’. The winner of ‘Artist in Me ‘ was Chitrakshi VS Sharma of TSUS, Jammu.
Shranya, Ratish, Kanika, Harshita of Springdales school were the winners of My Future City.
The winners of ‘ Paint a Poem’ were Ananta Sharma, Harshita Choudhary and Samarthak Mahajan of TSUS, Jammu. Tnish Vasishtha, Akhilesh Manhotra, Samarth Mahajan and Parth Sharma of TSUS, Jammu were the winners of ‘ Quiz on our own Heritage’. Dipanshu and Divansh of Springdales were the winners in expressions.
The overall trophy was won by ‘Heritage School Jammu’.
Finally, the winners were presented trophies and certificates.
