JAMMU, Aug 27: The shooters of the state were screened for participation in 28th All India GV Mavalankar Shooting Championship to be held at Chennai in Tamil Nadu from August 30 to September 7, 2018.
The screening was done at Shooting Range Gulshan Ground, Jammu by Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer (J), J&K State Sports Council in presence of Sharat Chander Singh, Vice President, J&K Rifle Association and Rajesh Virdhi, Shooting Coach.
The team comprising of 5 women and 13 men will participate in the Championship.
Men: Adhi Raj, Aditya, Abhinav, Shivang, Charandeep, Rajan, Hardeep, Vishal, Vivaan, Romijeet, Gurmeet, Sangram and Arun.
Women: Shruti, Rupali, Charanpreet, Himanshi and Anshu.
Vishal Mehra will accompany the team as Manager.
