Shining Star CC outplays Chilla Club by 25 runs

JAMMU, Feb 1: Shinning Star Cricket Club outplayed Chilla Cricket Club by 25 runs in the ongoing Inter Panchayat/Block Level Cricket Tournament, being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Parade Ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Shining Star Cricket Club scored 135 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sham Sunder top scored with 54 runs, while Yasin and Zamaan contributed 20 runs each. From Chilla Cricket Club, Kartik and Vishal took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Chilla Cricket Club bundled out for 110 runs in 15.2 overs. Abhishek (55) and Kartik (23) were the main scorers.
From Shining Star Cricket Club, Tauqeer took 3 wickets, while Zamaan and Ajay claimed 2 wickets each. Sham Sunder was declared as the man of the match.
The Tournament is being organised under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, Jammu.
Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu is the Organising Secretary, while the matches are being supervised by Senior Cricket Coaches of J&K Sports Council- Naveen Sharma and Randhir Singh.
