JAMMU, Jan 8: Chief Coach of J&K Police Athletics team Sharat Chander Singh has been nominated as member of North Zone team of Khelo India Talent Ide-ntification by Sports Authority of India, today.
He will identify the talented Athletes of States and UTs including Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Jammu & Kashmir.
Being member of the team, Sharat will also be entitled to all the financial aspects involved in performing his assigned job besides looking into the talent at grass-root level.
The team shall also ensure updating data base of NSRS and create ranking of Athletes.
