JAMMU, Nov 19: The final matches in both boys and girls categories of the 4th Shakuntala Rani Memorial Inter-School Basketball tournament hosted by KC Public School were played here today.
The tournament was launched by KCPS in 2011 and has become an annual feature for the CBSE affiliated Schools.
14 teams from various Schools participated in the event, while MHAC Nagbani and KC Public School emerged finalists in boys section, while in girls section, Jodhamal School was one of the finalists. KCPS emerged winner in boys section.
The concluding function was presided over by Dr Ram Thakur, Academic Director of KCPS, while School Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra presented welcome address.
Dr Thakur in his brief speech appreciated the skills of the teams and also lavished praise for the School Management for hosting the event.
The function concluded with presentation of National Anthem.
