Shakib Al Hasan to rejoin KKR ahead of Mumbai tie

NEW DELHI :  Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan is all  set to rejoin defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad  for the upcoming matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL).    Shakib, the number one ranked all-rounder across formats, played the  first two matches of KKR and the left for Bangladesh to represent his  country against Pakistan.
The KKR bowling will be bolstered by the return of the left-arm spinner,  which has a variety of spinners in their attack, including 44-year-old Australian  chinaman bowler Brad Hogg, West Indian mystery spinner Sunil Narine,  leg-spinner Piyush Chawla and South African tweaker Johan Botha.    Shakib performed decently in the three match ODI series and scored a  match winning half-century in the one-off T20 International (T20I). Bangladesh  created history and white washed Pakistan in the all limited overs games.    Shakib is most likely expected to replace Johan Botha in the playing eleven  for the Kolkata side.
The Shahrukh Khan-owned team are currently second in the points table  with 15 points. They have two more group games left. (AGENCIES)
