POONCH, July 10: Shaheed Dy SP Manjeet Singh Volleyball Club distributed sports kits among the players of top two teams who played the finals of recently concluded 1st Poonch Premier League Cricket Tournament, organized by Romeo Force.
Rajinder Singh, Retd DYSSO, spoke in detail about the working of Shaheed Dy SP Manjeet Singh Club.
Mohd Tariq Khan, Founder of Club, while speaking on the occasion said that Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club will make utmost efforts to bring Poonch sports on National map and appealed to all the sportspersons to adopt sports culture honestly.
SSP Poonch Shamesher Hussain, who was chief guest on the occasion, distributed the sports kit. He said that Shaheed Manjeet Club is taking keen interest in organizing tournaments of different games and keep the young generation busy in sports activities.
Among others present were Salil Raina, a prominent Journalist, ML Sharma Principal Boys HSS, Jatinder Singh Tandon, incharge, DYSSO Poonch, Matinder Pal Singh Hockey Coach, Neeraj Sharma and Volleyball Coach, Imtiaz Salaria.
