Senior Division Football League Tournament

JAMMU, Jan 1: SFA and Shaheen Football Club outplayed rivals in their respective matches and registered berth in the next stage of the ongoing Senior Division Football League Tournament, being organized by District Football Association Jammu under the aegis of J&K Football Association, here today.
In today’s first match, SFA registered win over Young Star Football Club by straight two goals to zero. Arshid Thakur netted the goals in the 7th and 37th minutes of the match.
In the second match, Shaheen Football Club defeated Sainik Colony Football Club by 3-1 goals. For Sainik Colony, Rohin Kumar netted the goal in 61st minutes, whereas for Shaheen Club, Ashish Mehra netted two goals in 2nd and 5th minutes and Ankit Gupta scored the goal in 33rd minute.
The matches were officiated by Koshal Sharma, Ajay Singh, Abhishek, Suresh Gupta, Vijay Kumar, Ricky, Rahul Sharma and Dheeraj Meenia.
In today’s matches the guests were Sheikh Mehmood, District President DFA Jammu, Ramesh Chander, Vice President West JKFA, Varinder Gupta, Charan Dass, Yousaf Don, Rajesh Kumar and Amardeep Singh.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Vijay Club will take on NGR, whereas JK Bank Academy will lock horns with Hero FC.
