Senior Football team flagged off

LEH, Mar 22: A team of 22 girls from UT of Ladakh was flagged off by Secretary Youth Services and Sports, Ravinder Kumar for the participation in Hero27th Senior Women’s National Football Championship, scheduled to be held at Chhattisgarh.
It is for the first time, the senior women’s team of Ladakh is going to participate in the National tournament, said the Secretary while flagging off the contingent, here today.
The team along with four officials, Harpreet Bedi as Head Coach, Tsering Dorjay as Assistant Coach, Tashi Dolker as Manager and Dolma Lhamo as Physiotherapist will be leaving for Chhattisgarh to compete in the prestigious national tournament.
The Secretary wished them all the best. “The team comprises talented and skilled players who are eager to showcase their abilities on a national level. We are confident that they will make UT proud and put up a strong performance in the tournament,” Secretary Kumar said.
