JAMMU, Dec 3: On the fourth day of the POWERGRID Inter Regional Cricket Tournament 2015, semifinal lineup was drawn, here today.
Now in the semifinals, CC will take on WR-II and NR-I will face WR-I tomorrow.
Earlier, POSOCO defeated SR-II by 9 wickets. Batting first, SR-II scored 114 for 6 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. In reply POSOCO surpassed the target in 12 overs for loss of one wicket. Gourav Verma of POSOCO who scored unbeaten 56 was declared as man of the match.
In another match, WR-I defeated ER-II by 6 wickets . Batting first, WR-I scored 141 runs in their 20 overs.ER-II in their innings could manage only 88 runs and were bundled out in 18 overs. Atul of WR-II who scored 54 runs and took 4 wickets was declared as man of the match.
ER-I defeated SR-I by 61 runs in the last match of the day. Batting first, ER-I scored 163 for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, SR-I could only muster 102 runs in 19.2 overs. Neeraj Kumar of ER-I was declared as man of the match.
